Founder of Fruitera, Software engineer, programmer, and robotics enthusiast passionate about solving complex problems.
I’m Aditya Thakkar, a dedicated software developer and problem-solver passionate about using technology, AI, cybersecurity, and leadership to make a real impact. At Bellarmine College Preparatory, I’ve developed skills in Python, Java, FastAPI, and web development through projects in robotics, AI, cybersecurity, and community service. I contribute to the software team of a top ranked FRC robotics team in the world, where I built a 2D visualizer and helped improve robot performance with advanced programming.
Beyond robotics, I’m building Fruitera, a startup that connects neighbors to trade homegrown produce, and also creating a community-focused website for my Eagle Scout project. I’m also exploring ethical hacking through platforms and simulators like Hack The Box. I combine technical skill with community service, strategic thinking with hands-on action, and curiosity with grounded goals—using code not just to build, but to connect. Beyond my passion for technology and robotics, I find solace in playing the guitar. Whether it’s strumming classic rock tunes or exploring fingerstyle compositions, music offers me a creative outlet and a means to unwind

I've always been drawn to complex puzzles. From 3rd grade through 7th grade, I competed in the First Lego League and spent weeks building and programming a LEGO Mindstorms robot that could navigate a maze, falling in love with the process of iterative problem-solving. That same drive pushes me to tackle challenges in FRC robotics, and software development today—I find genuine joy in creating elegant solutions to difficult problems.
With my startup, Fruitera, my focus shifted from "can I build this?" to "how can this help people?" I've realized technology is most meaningful when it connects communities and addresses real needs. Whether it's helping neighbors share homegrown produce or developing an Eagle Scout project website that will serve my community for years, I'm motivated by creating technology that brings people together.
Throughout boy scouts and robotics, I've learned that leadership isn't about being in charge—it's about empowering others. Some of my proudest moments have been watching teammates I've mentored develop confidence in their abilities. I want to continue growing as a leader who doesn't just achieve goals but helps others discover their potential along the way.

Fruitera is a community-driven platform designed to help neighbors share and trade homegrown fruits and vegetables. By making it easy to list and browse local produce, coordinate pickups, and connect with others nearby, Fruitera encourages sustainable living and reduces food waste.
To create a lightweight, intuitive platform that fosters real-world connections through digital tools, making food sharing simple, local, and impactful.
A combination of technical expertise and leadership skills that enable me to tackle complex challenges.

Here are some of the projects I've worked on.
I built this website to showcase my projects and skills while improving my full-stack development experience. It uses FastAPI for the backend, HTML/CSS/JavaScript for the frontend, and Jinja for templating.
A premium cutlery rental platform designed for event planners, caterers, and individuals. Features include real-time availability tracking, secure payment processing, and an intuitive rental interface. Built as part of my Eagle Scout project to serve the community's event planning needs.
I developed this 2D visualizer in Java to provide a real-time representation of our FRC robot's movement and functionality. It simulates using Advantage Scope—a tool used in FRC robotics for simulation—to help the team analyze performance, debug issues, and refine strategies.
An interactive web application that allows users to play chess against an AI opponent with multiple difficulty levels. Features include move validation, undo functionality, game restart, and different themes for a customized playing experience.
A digital time capsule web application that enables users to send emails to their future selves. Features include message composition, file attachments, scheduled delivery, secure account creation with email verification, and a user friendly dashboard to manage scheduled messages.
Exploring the intersection of technology, ethics, and personal development
For the past few years, AI has become crucial in today's world, transforming how we approach problems and create solutions.
I believe AI represents both incredible opportunity and responsibility. As these technologies advance, they'll reshape industries, augment human capabilities, and solve problems we haven't yet imagined.
However, these advancements must be balanced with ethical considerations, ensuring AI systems are fair, transparent, and designed with human welfare as the priority.
As a developer, I'm fascinated by AI's potential while mindful of the need for responsible implementation and governance.
What sets me apart is the way I combine technical skill with leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to community. I don't just build software—I build solutions that connect, support, and empower others.
Through Scouting, I've grown as a leader who thrives on challenges and leads with integrity and resilience. My work in competitive programming (USACO), ethical hacking (Hack The Box), and web development has shaped a strong problem-solving mindset grounded in both precision and creativity.
As a developer for FRC Team 254, I've collaborated with a high-performing software team to push boundaries in robotics—creating tools like a 2D robot visualizer and helping fine-tune performance through advanced code and real-time testing.
Beyond robotics, I founded Fruitera, a startup that enables neighbors to trade homegrown produce. The platform promotes sustainability, reduces food waste, and builds local connections through accessible tech. I'm also developing a website for my Eagle Scout project to support neighborhood resource sharing, especially in under-connected communities.
Whether I'm working on AI, cybersecurity, robotics, or community tech, I bring a mindset that's both innovative and grounded. I approach problems from multiple angles, communicate effectively across teams, and strive to deliver solutions that are not only technically sound—but socially meaningful.
I'm always looking for new opportunities to apply my skills.
